The Role Model Award is given annually to those individuals within the COSCO Group who exemplify the finest qualities of leadership, skilled management and a dedication to good and fair business practices. In essence, the award notes the recipients’ conduct and suggests that conduct as a standard to follow for all of the people of COSCO, with selection based on both peer submissions and top management evaluation. CLA is proud to announce that Gary Schubert, CLA Executive Vice President and IBT President, is a recipient of this year’s award. In addition to leading the organization through the current growth phase in services, capacity and coverage, he was instrumental in the founding and evolution of COSCO Logistics (Americas), as well as the trucking subsidiary that ultimately became Intermodal Bridge Transport. Gary is based at the CLA/IBT headquarters in Secaucus, NJ.
